Time flies, it’s been 1 year working with Dell. Right now, I’m on a 1 week cooling off period which is a standard procedure for all temps on their next contract renewal (yearly basis). Yes, I’m still a temp due to insufficient headcount in my department. It is not easy for my department to get a permanent headcount. Even if they do, it’s only for someone who has years of experience in that line. Right now, I’m awaiting good news. I know for a fact that I will be getting a salary increment but they have yet to disclose the amount. As for my contract, whether I’m being converted to a perm or remain under an agency have yet to be finalized.
It’s my 3rd day being “jobless” – so far so good. Will definitely make full use of my 1 week before going back to work on Monday. I am going to enjoy my pampering sessions and work-free getaway relaxation in the comfort of my own sanctuary.
