24th June 2010 (Thursday) – Headed over to Gurney to collect the Fossil watch. Put in a deposit of RM 100 much earlier to secure that model. The gift was for my 1 year anniversary with Jasmon and it cost RM529. At the end of the day after much negotiating, they gave me a 10% discount.
25th June 2010 (Friday) – Took my annual leave to rest at home.
26th June 2010 (Saturday) – As usual, Sarah & I have decided that we should come up with another theme party for her birthday. Considering the fact that we enjoy being creative. After much deliberation, we settled for an all white party with toilet paper decos. We celebrated at Bayu Emas, Batu Feringghi. The apartment looks crappy on the outside but amazingly enough, the boutique apartment that Sarah rented was damn nice & cozy and it cost her like RM 300 plus.
We started off early on the alcohol and had pizzas for dinner. Loads of things to talk / gossip about. A fun night indeed! I guess all of us got a little carried away. Most of the pictures were quite obscene. At least 10 / 20 years down the road, we’ll look back and remind ourselves how crazy we were during our young adulthood. Maybe Jasmon would. :)
27th June 2010 (Sunday) – Checked out from Bayu Emas and then checked in again to Tanjung Bungah Hotel. Since we took Monday off to recover, Sarah got us a room so that the both of us can just chill, relax and get some sun tanning. The weather wasn’t very nice so we had to wait until Monday morning to get our sun tan.
28th June 2010 (Monday) – Went shopping :). Bought myself a pair of denim shorts & an oriental looking top from OFO. Went to Queensbay Mall and bought myself a bright red baby doll top with sleeve and a bright purple tube dress from Kitschen. I was a happy little girl.
2nd July 2010 (Friday) – Had a HR Team building session with my colleagues at Damai Laut, Lumut. All of us were staying in Swiss Garden Resort & Spa Damai Laut. Made a few stops on the way to Bagan Panchor (To see the fisherman boats – Apparently known to be famous for drug dealing and the brick houses there were build on sea.) & Pantai Remis (Had lunch in one of the restaurants there and stopped by for some homemade otak-otak – Love it!)
3rd July 2010 (Saturday) – Before checking out, we did some team building activity. By the time I reached home was around 4ish. The rest of my remaining weekends were spent with him.
5th July 2010 (Monday) – Officially our 1 Year Anniversary!!!!! Jasmon and I thought it would be nice to go back to Smokey Jacks at Upper Penang Road to have dinner. It was the place we went to on our first date. That morning itself, I had to do some last minute shopping. Now you see, Jasmon made his guess that I will be getting him either a watch, an electronic photo frame or a photo album. I really don’t know how he does it but he is really good at guessing games.
Anyway, I decided to get him a simple Four Skin shirt to divert his attention from the main gift. Put it in a box and wrapped it up nicely with my own handmade card. That night, I presented him his gift. He was pretty excited about it. I can tell he was slightly disappointed and I know he does not want to admit it. He likes the card better than the shirt coz it’s more meaningful. To him a shirt is just like any other shirts. I told him that this was not the main gift. So I took the other wrapped box and handed it over. I could tell he was speechless when he opened it. He got up and gave me a long kiss on the lips. I knew it was the biggest gift he has ever received.
That night was just perfect...everything is. It will definitely be a night to remember. :)
I did not use up all the money. Bought myself a Riz Rice L'occitane moisturizer which cost me RM125 after a 5% discount, a Forever21 top which cost RM 119 and something to pamper myself - a French manicure. *Big Smiles*
